It remains there until the quest to sabotage the Communications Tower is completed. Initially, the player is blocked from entering the second Large Room by Marguerit Maida's pet Snow Stalker laying in front of the door. There's also a Reaper Leviathan skull hung on a wall. The first Large Room contains a built Seatruck Perimeter Defense Upgrade, a Snowfox Fragment and the Test Override Module Fragment. Entry to the base is via a Bulkhead that separates the Moonpool from the base's interior, and it will be open after the player encounters Marguerit Maida at Delta Island. The structure overall has a grimy and dishevelled exterior, and a dark and cluttered interior filled with hunting trophies, personal effects and partially dismantled equipment. Pick up the PDAs Marguerite indicates to continue the story, and help yourself to any plants or scannable items in the Greenhouse.The base consists of two interconnected Large Rooms, one with a Glass Dome roof, and a Moonpool containing Marguerit Maida's Prawn Suit connected by a right-angle section of corridor. She will talk about Sam, Robin's sister, and her changing levels of dedication to Alterra.
Inside you will find Marguerite and her Snow Stalker Preston. You will come to a slope go up and over to the other iceberg section to access the Greenhouse. Marguerite's Greenhouse is on top park your Seatruck and navigate the Light Stick path, using Fevered Peppers to keep warm if needed. You will come to a large iceberg split into two sections that rises above the water. You can use the Delta Station Dock Beacon we left behind earlier to approximate your distance. When you've found this little area in the island where you stood on top, turn directly East and pass the Lilypad Islands. Hop in your Seatruck and hug the island so that your Seatruck faces the Communications Tower due West. Luckily, the big Communications Tower will help guide you. You will need to approximate this location because you're on top of the Delta Island mountain, and the Delta Station Dock is at the bottom of the mountain. She says she is about one kilometer east on top of an iceberg. After Hijacking Alterra Communications, Marguerite will give you a call with her location.
